Adams says unionists are pushing for suspension

Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams claims that the UUP are holding the British Government to ransom over the suspension of the institutions.

Mr Adams says David Trimble is threatening to pull his ministers out of the Executive unless the Northern Secretary Dr John Reid suspends the institutions.
