Trimble hits out at Governments

Failure to get the IRA to disarm will be a "great dark stain" on the Irish and British Governments’ records, Ulster Unionist Party leader David Trimble warned today.

As the Northern Ireland peace process plunged deeper into crisis, Mr Trimble lashed out at Dublin and London and claimed their strategy could see an eruption of new violence.
