Four men were appearing in court today charged with murdering a man whose battered body was found in a Belfast alleyway.

Kenneth Oslon, 43, was discovered dead at the rear of houses in Eglantine Avenue in the south of the city on Saturday.

It is thought the father of three, who had suffered serious head injuries, may have lain undetected in the entry for up to 24 hours.

The accused, aged 36, 34, 28 and 23, were due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court.
