Sinn Fein's Alex Maskey has indicated that his party will not be ready to release a response to the British-Irish peace plan for the North by Monday's deadline.

Speaking after a meeting between Sinn Fein and Northern Secretary John Reid in Hillsborough Castle this morning, Mr Maskey said: "As far as we are concerned there are no deadlines in this matter other than the imperative to get the Good Friday Agreement implemented."
