Aer Corps sent to rescue two divers off west coast

The Aer Corps helicopter based at Sligo has been scrambled to go to the aid of two divers who made an emergency ascent off Eagle Island.

The divers were forced to surface from a depth of 120 feet.

The helicopter will transfer them to the decompression chamber at Galway University Hospital.
