PJ Mara apologises to Flood Tribunal
Former Government press secretary, P.J. Mara has told Justice Fergus Flood that he forgot to tell the Planning and Payments Tribunal about his offshore accounts.
Mr Mara apologised to Justice Flood for what he called his "deficiency" in this matter.
The tribunal heard that the former secretary to Charles Haughey and his wife had a company called Pullman Ltd, based in the Isle of Man.
He said it was based there to receive cheques from overseas clients who dealt with his communications company.
Mr Mara didn't inform the tribunal about this company's accounts until last Friday.
Asked about the delay in notifying the tribunal, he said, he forgot and apologised to the tribunal.
