The Lindsay Tribunal has rejected an application for it to investigate US companies who exported contaminated blood products to Ireland.

The Irish Haemophilia Society had asked Judge Alison Lindsay to extend the scope of her inquiry to include these companies to determine exactly how 252 Irish people contracted Hepatitis C and HIV from infected blood products.
