Man dies in Co Longford hit-and-run

A man has died after being struck by a car at Kenagh in Co Longford early this morning.

Gardai have appealed for witnesses to a fatal hit-and-run in Kenagh, Co Longford this morning.

A man in his 60s died after being struck by what Gardai believe was a white car at around 2.50am.

The driver of the car fled the scene. Gardai are withholding the dead man’s name until all next of kin are informed.
