Weston Park talks are doomed - DUP

Prime Minister Tony Blair’s bid to bring stable Government to Northern Ireland is doomed, it was claimed tonight.

As Mr Blair and Taoiseach Bertie Ahern returned to Weston Park on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border for another round of talks with the Northern Ireland parties, the Rev Ian Paisley’s Democratic Unionists insisted the Governments would not be able to sell whatever deal emerged to their community.
