The State Pathologist, Dr John Harbison, has completed a full post mortem on the exhumed body of Co Donegal cattle dealer, Richie Barron.

Mr Barron was killed in Raphoe nearly five years ago.

It had been thought the cause of death was a hit-and-run accident.

However, allegations of Garda corruption and involvement in his death led to his exhumation. His remains were re-interred after the three hour examination.

Gardai have said no comment will be made on the results until they have been passed to the investigating team.
