The Parades Commission has decided to uphold its ban on the Orange Order from walking down the nationalist Garvaghy Road in Drumcree next Sunday, despite new proposals from the Orange Order.

The Ulster Unionist Party had described the proposals as a significant step forward but Sinn Fein had argued that they were merely a cosmetic attempt to facilitate the Order walking along the traditional parade route.
