Mobile speed cameras are to be introduced in the effort to lower the number of deaths on Irish roads.

A new scheme that is expected to cost £30m is being finalised by the Gardai, the Departments for Justice and the Environment and the National Roads Authority to introduce mobile speed cameras in favour of the present fixed cameras.
