Martin to sign disputed medical card legislation

The Minister for Health is to sign the legislation allowing for the extension of the medical card scheme to all citizens over the age of 70, despite an ongoing dispute with the Irish Medical Organisation.

Talks between the IMO and the Health Service Employers Agency broke up earlier today without any resolution over payment.
