A Dublin man has been convicted by a jury on a charge of arson in a trial relating to the death of a Garda Sergeant in Tallaght in July 1999.

Daniel O'Toole of Cashel Avenue, Crumlin, denied charges of capital murder, murder and arson and pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
