Date for judicial hearing on Abbeylara shooting to be fixed

The High Court is due to fix a date for a judicial hearing on a challenge brought about by members of the Gardai against the Oireachtas committee inquest into the Abbeylara shooting.

The inquiry into the events surrounding the death of John Carthy by the Garda Emergency Response Unit should resume in July.
