Jury must continue its deliberations today
The jury in the trial of a Dublin man facing three charges in relation to the death of a Garda Sergeant will continue their deliberations today.
The jury considered the evidence surrounding Danny O’Toole from Cashel Avenue in Crumlin for about four hours yesterday before being sent to a hotel for the night.
The three charges are arson, capital murder and murder, although Mr O’Toole has only pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
He claims that the incident was a failed attempt at suicide and that there was no intention to hurt anyone else.
