The Flood Tribunal has told Co Meath building contractor Tom Brennan that he could face a High Court action if he fails to provide certain documents by next Tuesday evening.

Justice Flood told Mr Brennan that he must ‘get his finger out’ because his failure to provide certain documents had become intolerable.

Mr Brennan has spent a second day in the witness box of the planning and payments tribunal answering questions regarding the alleged payment of £60,000 to the former Minister Ray Burke.

Today the tribunal heard how Mr Brennan and an associate had taken out loans to supposedly buy houses, but that the money ended up in bank accounts in Jersey and Mr Burke’s payment was later made from one of these accounts.
