AIDS awareness needs to promoted

There have been calls for a new campaign over AIDS awareness because of the risk of an increase in the spread of HIV in Ireland.

The AIDS organisation, CAIRDE have called on the Government to increase awareness of how the disease is spread and the effects of the disease.

The calls are being made on Irish AIDS day and follow a recent survey that shows that new cases of the infections are rising faster then ever.
