Four held following arrests over republican activity

Four people remain in Garda custody this morning following their arrest yesterday in connection with dissident republican activity.

Three men were arrested in Dundalk while a woman was detained by Gardai in Dublin.

Three are being held at Ashbourne, Santry and Blanchardstown Garda stations while the fourth is being quizzed by Gardai at Mountjoy station.

All four are being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
