Donaldson and Hume keep their seats
The UUP candidate for the Lagan Valley constituency, Jeffery Donaldson has successfully held on to his seat in the Northern Ireland elections.
Sinn Fein have now won their second seat of the campaign as Martin McGuinness increased his majority by 5,000 to keep his mid-Ulster constituency seat.
Meanwhile, the leader of the SDLP, John Hume, has retained his seat in the Foyle constituency to obtain his party’s first seat in the Westminster parliament in this election.
