Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble is warning that he will quit as First Minister of Northern Ireland's power sharing executive, if IRA guns are not decommissioned.

He says he will stand-down at Stormont on July 1, if no moves are made by the IRA, but security chiefs are already insisting that deadline will not be met.

Sinn Fein claim they are making great progress following further talks with the disarmament commission.
