Tipp locals step up campaign against roadway

Locals in Co Tipperary opposed to the building of a planned motorway between Cashel and Mitchelstown are taking legal advice to try to stop the project going ahead.

The N8 Action Group say there is a serious democratic deficit in the way the project is being handled.

They are pledging to take their fight to the courts and say they will not be bulldozed out of their own communities.
