Noonan to move writ for South-Tipp by-election

Fine Gael leader Michael Noonan is expected to move the writ for the South Tipperary by-election this week.

The seat was vacated by the death of Fine Gael TD Theresa Ahern last September.

The election must take place between 21 and 28 days after the writ is moved.
