Aer Lingus set to take on Foley in the courts
Aer Lingus is expected to oppose an injunction in the High Court today, which blocks disciplinary procedures against chief executive Michael Foley.
The airline is expected to defend the process, which led to Mr Foleyâs effective suspension after an unfavourable finding was delivered against him following sexual harassment allegations.
Mr Foley has denied the complaints and questioned the role of Aer Lingus chairman Bernie Cahill in the process.
Last Thursday the embattled chief executive secured an interim injunction which restrained the company from taking any further disciplinary action until such time as the injunction against it was lifted.
