Sixteen teenagers have been injured in a stampede at a Westlife concert in Indonesia.

Panic broke out when the audience surged towards the stage at the end of the two-hour gig in Jakarta.

No deaths have been reported.

The incident comes just two months after four young fans were crushed to death in a stampede when A1 appeared at a Jakarta shopping mall.

A police spokesman said: "I can confirm that there are no deaths. Those who were affected were brought to three hospitals and given immediate treatment."

Westlife fan Veni Isvianto, 24, says: "I was told that it might be dangerous attending the concert. But who cares. I just love them."
