The chairman of the Revenue Commissioners has told an international conference on taxation that further measures to prevent abuse of the system are to be examined.

Speaking to the World Tax Conference in Dublin, Dermot Quigley said that his priority will be to ensure that Ireland's laws will be as non-intrusive as possible, while at the same time protecting the tax base.
