Michael Foley not at his desk
The embattled Aer Lingus Chief Executive Michael Foley has so far not turned up at his Dublin Airport office.
He was told last Friday that there is no need for him to report for duty as sex harassment allegations were being investigated.
It is understood that Mr Foley has spent the weekend consulting his legal team.
A company spokesman would not be drawn on the issue, but it is understood that the Aer Lingus boss is normally one of the first at their desks on Monday morning.
Later this week Mr Foley will give his side of the story to a board sub-committee investigating the affair. It is understood that he will also point out that one of the two women who made allegations against him waited for four months to make her claims.
The matter is also likely to be discussed when the Minister for Public Enterprise Mary O’Rourke meets the Aer Lingus Chairman Bernie Cahill tomorrow.
