Adams expected to attend Mac Stiofain funeral

The Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams is expected to join mourners at the funeral of the former IRA chief of staff Sean Mac Stiofain in Navan, Co Meath, today.

Requiem mass will take place in St Mary’s church prior to the burial. Last night the Northern education minister Martin Mc Guinness and Sinn Fein vice-president Pat Doherty attended the removal.
