Howard slams Euro Court award
Former British Home Secretary Michael Howard has said that he shared the sense of outrage felt by families of IRA victims over yesterday's European Court of Human Rights ruling.
"It is utterly wrong and completely unacceptable for this European court to say it knows better than the Government how terrorist attacks should be dealt with," the Conservative MP said.
"The European Court should not allow itself to be used as an instrument for terrorists. There is no argument - people killed by the security forces were murderers."
