Foreign Office confirms Prague arrests
The Department of Foreign Affairs has this evening confirmed that two women have been arrested in connection with the death in Prague of Michael O'Leary.
The body of the popular 23-year-old Callan farmer was found in a field in Prague on Sunday April 22.
His friend Patrick McNally was found alive some distance away. Both had been robbed.
The two women in Prague were charged today with robbery and it is thought that further charges may follow after the results of the autopsy on Michael O'Leary have been confirmed.
Macra na Feirme's president elect Seamus Phelan has said that the organisation with which Michael had travelled to Prague welcomed the news of the arrests.
