Ahern slams National Sports Stadium critics

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has hit back at critics who criticised the National Sports Stadium saying that he has never seen any of them at a major sports event.

He confirmed that an independent review is to proceed to examine the cost of the stadium because the initial report is now two years old.
