IRA linked to former INLA man's death

It has been revealed that the man who was shot in Derry this morning was a former member of the INLA.

It has been revealed that the man who was shot in Derry this morning was a former member of the INLA.

It is believed that the man, who has been named as Christopher O’Kane, was a leading drugs dealer and he had survived a previous attempt on his life.

He was shot four times in the stomach, just yards from his home in the Nationalist Currynieran estate.

The IRA, who were blamed for the previous attempt on his life, are being linked to the attack.
