Irish jobs under threat as Ericsson scales down

There are fears that 2,300 Irish jobs could be under threat with the announcement by mobile phone giant Ericsson that it is to shed 10,000 jobs worldwide.

The company said all operations are being reviewed following a massive downturn in revenues worldwide.
