Regionalisation of Louth ends today
The regionalisation of Co Louth as a foot-and-mouth zone is to end today, 30 days after the outbreak was detected on a farm in Proleek.
The county was classed as a region in order to safeguard food exports from the rest of the country and curb the spread of the disease.
