Parents Council leader leaves ASTI convention after intimidation

The president of the National Parents Council has left the ASTI convention in Galway following alleged intimidation.

Marie Damaswamy is said to be very upset by six separate incidents.

Pat Hurlihy from the Parents Council described the teachers’ behaviour as sick.

President of the ASTI, Don McCloskey, has promised the matter will be investigated.
