Prisoner sentenced for scalding fellow inmate

A Co Wicklow man who poured boiling water over a fellow convict at Wheatfield prison has been jailed for four years by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Joseph Daly (aged 22), a father of two from Sycamore Drive, Newtownmountkennedy, pleaded guilty to assaulting David Breen on January 16 1999.
