Taxi drivers with SIPTU threaten strike action
Taxi drivers with SIPTU are to consider the withdrawal of their services.
SIPTU is calling for the resumption of talks with the Government in the dispute over deregulation or face the consequences of reduced services.
SIPTU's Gerry Brennan says taxi drivers have incurred major losses because of the Government, unlike farmers effected by foot-and-mouth, who will be compensated.
