Government challenges Sinnott case again today

Presentations will continue today in a Supreme Court case that could determine future education policy for people with special needs.

The Department of Education is challenging a High Court order which ruled that free primary education should not end when a person reaches 18.

Lawyers for 23-year-old autistic man Jamie Sinnott from Co Cork, claim there is nothing in the constitution which says, that should be the case.
