ASTI to hear Labour Court proposals today

The Labour Court has said it hopes to hand settlement proposals to both sides in the teachers' pay dispute later today.

The ASTI has deferred today's and tomorrow's planned stoppages as a "goodwill gesture".

The chairman of the Labour Court Finbar Flood said there will be little more the court can do after today's offer is made.
