Suspected foot-and-mouth case in Co Laois

Department of Agriculture officials are taking samples from a suspect flock of sheep on a farm in Co Laois.

A garda spokesman said a consignment of sheep may have been brought onto the farm at Spink, Co Laois, from the North.
