Man in court today over Dublin Chinese murders
A 24-year-old Chinese national is due before Dublin District Court today charged in connection with the murder of a Chinese couple last week.
The bodies of 19-year-olds, Lia Qing and her boyfriend Yu Feng, were found in the Dublin apartment they shared, last week.
The victims, who were both from northeast China, were studying English and had been living here for the past year.
They were both strangled before attempts were made to set fire to their flat.
The suspect, who was arrested at his north Dublin home yesterday, works in a fast food restaurant in the capital.
