Canadian national dies in Kilkenny crash

A Canadian national resident in Ireland has died following a road traffic accident in Kilkenny.

The man, in his forties, was killed when his car was in collision with a small truck in the picturesque area of Inistioge, in Co Kilkenny.

Gardai say he had been living in Ireland for some time.

The accident occurred around 1.30pm.
