Labour Court delivers recommendation for teachers strike

The Labour Court has issued its recommendation for resolving the secondary teachers row.

Tonight the standing committee of the ASTI will meet to consider the ruling.

The Union's executive Council will consider its response tomorrow.

The teachers are looking for a 30% pay increase and if the proposals do not meet with their approval more strikes, which could threaten student preparation for State exams, are being threatened.
