The Flood Tribunal has been told that political donations to Ray Burke were listed as personal assets in a bank report.

The Flood Tribunal has been told that political donations to Ray Burke were listed as personal assets in a bank report.

The report was written by William Moody, a personal friend of Mr Burke's who managed the Ulster Bank at Dublin Airport, where Mr Burke had been a customer since 1974.

In the report, Mr Moody wrote that £118,000 donated to Mr Burke for political purposes was listed as personal assets.

When challenged about this, Mr Burke said this was "a piece of fiction" by Mr Moody.

The former Justice Minister is due to face further questioning later today on the granting of a broadcast licence to Century Radio in 1989.
