London blast 'aimed to kill'

Police in Britain said the bomb planted in a taxi outside the BBC Television Centre in west London was meant to kill.

Scotland Yard said the so-called Real IRA dissident group carried out the attack and are warning people that the group is engaged in a bombing campaign in Britain.

Police revealed between 10 and 20 pounds of explosives were used in the attack and that the blast is linked to three other incidents in London last year.
