Sheep slaughtered at foot and mouth scare farm

Sheep at the centre of the latest foot and mouth scare in Co. Louth have been slaughtered.

A farm near Ardee was sealed off this morning after it was suspected some of the animals may have come from the north, possibly the infected farm at Meigh in South Armagh.
