Nevin lawyers bid for quick start to appeal

Lawyers for the convicted murdered Catherine Nevin say they are anxious that her appeal goes ahead as soon as possible, irrespective of whether she gets legal aid or not.

Mrs Nevin's solicitor told the Court of Criminal Appeal that the issue of whether or not she is entitled to the proceeds of her dead husband's estate to fund her own appeal is now before the High Court.
