Gardai name Longford road victim

The elderly man who died in a road accident in Co Longford has been named.

Patrick Flood, who was in his seventies and from Corradooey, was knocked down on the Longford-Ballinalee road late last night.

Meanwhile, the name of the 28-year-old who was killed in a two-car collision on the Cavan-Virginia road overnight has not yet been released.
