Garda injured after chase

The Garda who was injured, when his patrol car was rammed by a stolen car, is to undergo surgery at the Mater Hospital.

The incident happened after a high-speed chase in the Fairview area of Dublin earlier this morning. The officer has suffered compound fractures to his arm and will be operated on later today to correct the injury.
