Waddle wants Owls job

Former Sheffield Wednesday star Chris Waddle has expressed an interest in taking over as the club's manager following the sacking of Paul Jewell this afternoon.

The dismissal was followed by the resignation of chairman Howard Culley in protest at the decision.
